Far breton

Recipe

  • For 10 people
  • Cooking temperature 200°C
  • Cooking time 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 3/4 l milk
  • 20 prunes
  • butter

Preparation

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing: flour, milk, sugar, eggs and the two packets of vanilla sugar.
  2. Let the butter rest.
  3. Heat the oven to 200°C.
  4. Melt the butter in your cake tin in the oven.
  5. Spread the fat over the bottom and sides of the dish.
  6. Pour the dough into the dish.
  7. Roll the prunes in the flour so that they do not fall to the bottom when baking.
  8. Insert the prunes into the dough.
  9. Bake the cake for half an hour at 200°C then turn off the oven and leave for another half hour.
  10. Your Far Breton is now ready to be eaten.
