Mashed potatoes

Ingredients
- 700 g of floury potatoes
- 50 g butter
- 20 cl milk
- ground nutmeg
- salt
Preparation
- Cut the washed and peeled potatoes in 4.
- Pour the potato pieces into a pot of boiling salted water and cook with a lid on for 15 minutes over medium heat until they fall apart.
- In another saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.
- Drain the water from the potatoes and let them cool for one minute.
- Mash the potatoes with a fork or mash them while still hot.
- Mix the mashed potatoes with the hot milk using a whisk.
- Add the nutmeg.
- Now you can enjoy your delicious purée with roast in sauce or fish.
